When you submit your article anywhere for money, be sure you know what rights you have and what rights you are giving up. Some places will give you a choice if you want to retain rights to your work or if you don’t mind giving them up completely for a bit more money. Often, it might come down to how much the article means to you or if you think you want to use it again. You can find places online that advertise that you can submit your article for consideration, but be sure it’s a reputable site. Never give anything away for free unless it is to promote another venture.
